Finally got my 4 eye, even though I had to sell my beloved Calypso SSP, such is life. I think it will be worth it in the long run. I have allot of plans for it and I've started by removing the rusted out L\S apron, it looked like the battery exploded at one time and the acid wasn't neutralized.

My '83 TX car is the same way....how hard of a job was it?

Congrats on the purchase, BTW.

Thanks, Not hard just time consuming. It helps to have a good spot weld cutter.

Congrats on getting a 4-eye Bernie. I'll have to do the same thing on my FHP, at least for now the battery tray will cover it up.

At least you guys are only having to replace the apron... I have to cut the frame rail out of mine in between the Kmember bolts and replace everything forward on the drivers side of my 86 Ne car... Shouldn't be that bad though just time consuming. I also need to straighten the top where the fender bolts to as the damage has just puled it down no wrinkle. I also need a new driver fender as well. Other than that stuff the car is all original.

Great job by the way.

Matt

Thanks Brian,
How come your car doesn't have the big hole for the washer bottle?

It has it, the pic has it cut off. Also don't make fun of the blue paint, the previous owner did that.

The previous owner called it FORD blue. I'm going to tear down the motor and trans anyway. The trans was painted SMURF blue to.
