Dipped in Gray?

I've seen the 92-93 full red and full blue(complete dash/steering wheel) interiors but titanium?

Break it down for me please, Mick! This one threw me for a loop today, as I don't believe I've ever seen one. The car is a '92 Nebraska SSP.

1992 coupe interior colors:
A = Titanium
B = Crystal Blue
D = Scarlet Red
J = Black

1993 coupe interior colors:
6 = Opal Grey
J = Black
R = Ruby Red
V = Royal Blue

There were a lot of grey interior SSPs. A lot more than red or blue actually.

Some (unconfirmed) 1993 Nebraska State Patrol units had grey interior. See the VIN project. All other years, confirmed or unconfirmed, has blue interior. Where is this 1992 unit that you saw with grey interior?

Thanks, Mick. This car was posted on the SSP mustang fb page. Would you explain the breakdown of the 92-93's that had the solid interior colors? Blue and red I have seen. I can't remember if the 92-93 solid interior was an option. The gray solid interior is entirely new to me.

This car is blue. It's just faded.

chp1982 05-22-2017 03:11 PM

Ha! That explains everything.

FoxChassis 05-22-2017 03:36 PM

Tan interiors will do that too. Fade so bad they look grey.

FoxChassis 05-22-2017 03:36 PM

Not sure what you mean by "solid" interior?

I think he's referring to the instrument cluster surrounds and steering wheels on the '92-'93 cars. All red or all blue, unlike the black that went with grey (and other colors, pre-'92).

Exactly. Monochromatic color throughout. Not a fan. When I saw what I thought was titanium all over, it was one of those moments where I couldn't believe I had never even heard of that combo.

Not all 92-93 red and blue came like that though. Was it an option to get the color matched steering wheel/shroud/dash?

ImEvil1 05-22-2017 11:08 PM

I think they were all like that.
