He guys...I asked Mike about this before posting it to be sure it is alright. I figured you guys may be interested in getting in on this.... I am the chairman of the Board for the local Chamber of Commerce and we are doing a fundraiser to buy some much needed equipment for our local Fire Department so I came up with the idea to do a gun raffle but not just the usual shotgun....Here is what we are raffling off:

Rock River Arms AR-15, post ban configuration:
-16" barrel
-A4-style flattop upper, optics-ready
-Detachable rear sight/carry handle assembly is included
-Collapsible stock, M4-style
-A2 Flash hider
-Bayonet Lug

We have added the following to it:
-UTG Railed handguard system
-CAA folding vertical foregrip
....and a medium-sized UTG backpack with MOLLE compatibility in fashionable black.

I figure most people would want the gun but the option is there if you want something else with a $1200 shopping spree.

Tickets are $5 each and we are limiting it to 1500 tickets total.

Obligatory Rule Statement: To receive this prize you must be over 18 years old, a non-felon, and be able to pass a background check on form 4473 (standard firearm purchase background check). There is no cash option. If you are out of state then you must have a local FFL to transfer the gun to and process the necessary paperwork....winner is responsible for transfer and shipping fees.

Drawing will be held on May 2nd at 6pm.

My next plan once we finish this raffle is to do something similar to benefit our local Police Dept.
