As Jon has mentioned, some of the cast iron pieces we're heavily "aged", so we opted for the Cast Iron Grey coating, turned out really nice. I have a special tool arriving this week to aid in the installation of the stock springs. Stock height springs are a challenge to install, can't do it without compressing. Struts are assembled and waiting. So far all is coming long nicely on this car.

I have had good success using a product called "Cast Blast". It makes cast parts look like they are brand new also. I have used it on engine blocks, rear brake drums and center sections etc.

Long overdue update: The FHP is back on all 4 wheels, the rear end, brakes and fuel systems are buttoned up! Next step is to get the engine back in shape then onto the cosmetics.
