Member at FEP posted a pic of the door tag from his 1983 5.0L GL coupe.

DSO = 110125

The VIN is in the VIN Project in a group of four. Ran AC reports on them and the original state they were shipped to is unknown but it looks like MA.

Perhaps a four-car evaluation by the state of MA for the 1983 model year?

Wow, that would be real cool if this turned out to be an SSP. We don't find many '83s.
