1992 FHP 1396 For Sale

Guys,

FHP 1396 is for sale.
I'll post it here and on .org for now.

Car has about 180k on it, and the engine was replaced by Ford (Fred Jones Long Block) under extended warranty at 90k, before the auction.

It's a great car, probably as close to as auctioned as can be found any more.
Never been painted, never been wrecked, All paint is OE Ford, and all 10 VIN Labels are intact. All glass is OEM, too.

Wheels are restorable, and it needs a full OEM exhaust (h-pipe and flow masters on it now). You could polish and re use the OEM tips, I think.

I was thinking of building a car with an in service look, so the drivers seat back bolster was repaired with a vinyl section, instead of having the seat re-upholstered. Look closely.

AC is all there, compressor is locked up, but AC clutch is free.
Water Pump weeps a little, and the PS (original) is a little loud.

I have installed new window weatherstrips and outside door sweepers.
I also replaced the console lid and the driver's side armrest.
Repaired the ash tray door.
Everything else is in the interior is original and in pretty good shape.

Included in the sale is all of the documentation:

Also included is a waterpump, fan clutch, PS pump (all aftermarket)and a set of door seals.

I have been perfectly happy with this car, but I am constantly working and when I have free time, family comes first, so instead of letting it just set there and get stuff piled on it in the garage, or worse, do a half way sort of job with it, I am going to let it go.

$6500, offers and interesting trades considered.

Below I will post some pictures taken this AM, they are a little "foggy", I think that my iPhone case is dirty. I'll try to get better one posted, when I can. The pics in the above link can give you a good idea what kind of shape the car is in.

The sale was not completed.

I mistakenly posted pictures showing an Arrive Alive plate on the front.

The plate was not included in the sale.

The buyer and I agreed that this was an issue that was best resolved by mutually releasing each other from our sale agreement.

I will re-post better pictures of the car, without the license plate, when I am ready to resume selling the car.

Thank you to everyone that was interested, and stay tuned!

Kevin

Are the AA plates that rare? I actually have that same plate. I have a 67 Cougar that would look good in your driveway.. :D
