I have for sale a 1993 Mustang LX SSP in excellent condition. This mustang was used at Ford as a reference car to other SSP mustangs built for law enforcement use. This mustang was NEVER put into law enforcement use. When I purchased this car it had 12,350 miles on it. It now has only 16,176 miles on it now. This Mustang does have the SSP Package and has the police ID tag behind the driver side headlight. There are a few upgrades on this car that really make it an awesome car to drive. It has a Kenne Bell 1.5L twin screw supercharger with a matching cold air filter system that produces 7psi of boost. The throttle body and mass air are matched to the supercharger system. The exhaust is upgraded to a flow master system that sounds awesome. It has brand new factory wheels and high performance tires that makes this car handle very well. There are no modifications to the engine. All stock as it came from ford. This car performs amazingly well and is a fine example of the last year of the fox body mustang. Everything works like new on this car as you would expect on a 16,176 mile car. If you have any questions or would like to inspect the car you can contact me at 910-506-9533. Thanks.
It's the second one in a group of three consecutive P40E VINs. The third one (PF109124) has a page in the VIN Project, and was a "Test Vehicle" at FoMoCo and equipped as an SSP.

Why are the steering wheel and pedals so worn if it only has 16k original miles on it?

TWOCARNUTS 04-22-2013 03:17 PM

I spoke with the owner last night...the vin is one newer than mine and according to the "autocheck" it was in Fords hands until 1996 just like mine....missing the 10 hole wheels but a fine looking PD Reef Blue car...Rare duck indeed...

Do we know what the HP rating is for this car?
Just curious.

TWOCARNUTS 04-22-2013 08:22 PM

I have a friend who has a similar set up on a GT and with exhaust mods it is making around 320hp...nice ride...

the pedals are not worn. the steering wheel looks like crap from the sun. That is why the left side of the wheel is way worse than the right.

I think the miles are legit, but given the amount fo runst on things under the hood the car has definately sat outside. A couple years outside is all it takes to fry trim etc.

I am the new owner of the car, was looking for a nice coupe for awhile after I sold my teal/black 93 cobra. Also looking for something I could drive a little more then the garage queens that I usually have. This seemed to fill the needs of what I was looking for since it was already supercharged with lower mileage. I did receive the original intake, set of 10 holes, factory headers with the deal, the rest of the parts a pretty easy to come by here and there if I desire to return it to a stock car. The car needs some TLC in a few areas, plus a major detail, which are on the list to do. Me and "TWOCARNUTS" live about an hour apart and attend some local shows together, so this year is going to be interesting since his car and mine are VIN# side by side. Here are a few shots of the car today while I had it out.
