Some one save it!

I know it's on the other site but someone should grab this car!

I saw that earlier today...pretty rare car, considering it's a factory A/C delete, vinyl interior, and an AOD.

Yeap!! I also looked into it but it is a no go for me. Shipping will blow me away.

Fly there and DRIVE it back... That's what I'd do.
Quick tune (plugs and wires), oil change, spare hoses, coolant, belt and 2 tires and get under way. The $1200.00 and maybe another $1000.00 to fetch it and an on the road tune is more than worth it. You will never find this car again for $2200.00

Marcos,

What kind of shipping quote did you get?

jarhed123 09-24-2007 11:17 PM

The lowest I got was $800 from DAS Transport and it would take approximately 16 days to get here. The seller would have to drive the car 100 miles to the pick up spot. When I contacted the seller he told me he was firm on the price and if he had to drive to the pick up spot, he would then raise the price to $1,400.

I priced out all I would need to drive it down, a plane ticket, hotel, gas, two tires, oil change, and a comp. day from work and it does not add up for an automatic w/o AC and vinyl seats. Keep in mind this car will need an extra $5k to get it where I want it. I am a bit anal when it comes to my cars.

I hope someone who is closer can get to it. Myself and Fastduo attempted but it is not financially convenient for us Floridians.

Randy @ aaallstates could probably beat that price. When I shipped 3 of mine out west at once, the '85 CHP from FL, and the CHP car from S. Dakota, I used his company (all three times). He beat DAS by far every time, and I never had a problem with any of the companies that used his broker service (door-to-door, too).

I contacted Randy@aaastates, got the same price range I have been getting. $950 to $1100.
