Tire Suggestions
Goodyear no longer makes the Eagle GTII, and the BF Goodrich OE tire is discontinued. What have you you guys put on your '82-'84 Mustangs with the 14" wheel? I want it to look OE, no white lettering. I can't find anything on Coker, Ebay, Goodyear was no help...any thoughts?

Pretty slim pickin's in 14" anymore. I'd be inclined to slap on a set of reversed BFG Radial T/As and call it a day...still a good looking tire.

Good luck on the search. Matt |
The Rack says OE size is 205/70...same for SSP?
Their prices on the 70 series T/As: 205/70 - 69.00 215/70 - 73.00 225/70 - 74.00 It is shocking...I remember these being sub $40 tires for the longest time. Higher oil prices strike again! |

I've got a set of Eagle GT+4s, which are pretty close to the OE GTs. I'm probably just going with one "show" set for all 3 cars. |
I like the BF Goodrich except can't stand the fact that the white lettering will show from the inside. I have looked at all the tires available and I am thinking about the Uniroyal Tiger Paw touring also. It is a good looking tire and I can get them for 50.00 each. The BFG is about 62.00.

IIRC, Westley's Bleche White and a scrub brush will take those white letters off.

Any tire suggestions on 15" 10hole wheels What is the proper tire size that I need to get. tire co. pros/cons thanks Dave

225-60VR-15 I would stay with a V Rated Tire. I went with the BFG G-FORCE TA's I have had H Rated and didn't care for them.

225/60/15 for sure. Z rated wouldn't be too bad either but are a tad more expensive. Kelly makes a good tire in this size in a V and Z rated.
I used to run Kellys a lot and were pleased overall with them. |
