What Happened to NYPD Mustang GT's
 

I was just currious if anyone here knew what happened to NYPD's 2 Mustang GT's they had back in the late 90's. They had been seized during a crack down on street racing. The two cars were painted just like the light blue and white marked units with all the markings and emergency equipment. I remember reading about them in some Mustang magazine back in the day.

If I had to guess I would say they rusted, alot.

in 1993 when I was in the police academy in the florida keys, Monroe County SO had a black 92 GT with a lightbar and a subdued version of thier standard decals, who ever the Deputy of the month was got to drive it for 4 weeks

Knowing the NYPD those cars are long gone.

I OWN ONE OF THE MUSTANGS NYPD USED IN THE 1990'S...IT WAS THE ONE # 2995 HWY #3 ....IT HAD A SUPERCHARGER AND A GT-40 INTAKE.AND A TOKIKO SUSPENSION IN IT.....IT NEEDS MINOR ENGINE TUNING A PAINT JOB AND T.L.C.....ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING IT ?

I have a potential buyer for it.
