1990 NCSHP on ebay

Not mine (but I wouldn't mind having it in my garage at the right price, even with the auto trans). This one was listed previously with a Buy-It-Now price of $15K. It is now listed without a reserve. This SSP is already included in our VIN Project -

10k would ba fair price IMHO.

Given the YU (Dark Titanium) paint code, would this SSP have been used as an unmarked unit?

Likely, if memory serves me right they used that color.

By 1990 Ford was putting special paint colors on the door tags. For 1990, NCSHP special paint colors were W2813 and M1724. If you have a regular production color on your door tag for an agency that had special colors, your car was likely unmarked.

There is another 1990 that is six VINs before yours (LF163471) with the same DSO (22-0120) but with white (YO) paint.

That car has been going around the sales block.

As in being flipped? Or has it just been listed over and over by the same seller? I remember this seller had an "optimistic" BIN price on the car at one point (like $15K)

He's had it for sale for several months on Mike's SSP "For Sale" FB page. Guess he hasn't had much interest. He's been pretty firm on price for some time.

Brad, you're right. That's where I've seen the car before. This SSP should end up with a new owner after this ebay listing is over, since he finally placed the car up for auction without a reserve.
