Not sure of who is selling. Thought I'd post up:

Seller is one of the organizers of the Ripon EV show and a long time police car photographer. Besides taking many SSP photos of his own, he also purchased the SSP photo collection of Charles Ricks, an early SSP enthusiast.

Thanx. Now I know.

No prob. Come to the Morro Bay or Ripon EV shows (you will be coming to one or both, right? :) ) and Darryl usually has a booth where he has binders full of photos for sale.

Mike (or anyone), what is your thought about use of these photos after purchasing them from Darryl? IDK, does he put his own copyright symbol on them? The reason I ask is because I know of at least one photo...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/California-H...item3f1fefcdc9 ...which we now know through our VIN Project to be the following car that served in Bakersfield - http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info211227.htm In the above instance, the only place online that I have seen that picture is in his collection. I'm sure there are other photos in his collection like that. |
Personally, I do not see any problem with using them. I offered to host them here a few years ago but never got a response. Kind of a shame to let them sit somewhere and not be enjoyed.
