Whelen and others

Guys,

I've purchased two dash-masters and Whelen ups 690 from them for a darn good deal so I'd like to spread this around...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are a Whelen Master Distributor and stock a tremendous amount of
inventory. We have 5 locations at do a lot of upfitting of police cars. We
end up taking in trade-in's (as much as I hate that part) when people
upgrade to led's. Thus.... lots of "old stuff" sitting around that when I
get time, I throw some of it on ebay.
Also, you will see a lot of new/old stock under patrick31405. We buy a lot
of our items in big bulk from the mfg, so when new/new things come out the
older ones tend to sit. I've got whelen dashmisers & dashkings on there for
less than I paid for them.

I do have a good bit of old sirens (wish I could list those on ebay w/o them
getting kicked off).

Ah, they are very friendly people and easy to talk to.

Thanks!! I'm going to contact them right now. I'm in search of an old Whelen WS-224 that our local PD used in the '90s. I actually got permission to get one from the shop, but they haven't turned one up yet. I was hoping to at least get some photos, even better get the control head, best of all get one with an amp in working condition. I get whatever they can find, if anything. No luck yet.

So, in the meantime, now that I've finally ID'ed the model number, I'm in search of one. Putting feelers out with contacts everywhere. The PD used the Yelp tone 95+ % of the time and it was so distinctive back then. Watch an old episode of COPS-Memphis and you'll see what I mean.
