This is my old car again, an absolutely GREAT builder for someone with the time. The hard stuff is already found (that red interior is gorgeous). Someone needs to snatch this up!

Hi Chris... Who is the owner? I wonder why they dont post the car here? I hope it finds a good home.

Again?? Does it come up for sale from time to time?

Did the car have its buc tags when you owned it?

It has changed hands numerous times since I sold it. Not for any negative reason, it's just a big project. The car is extremely solid (no rust at all) and is arrow straight, but it is just a roller. The current owner owns Laurel Mountain Mustangs if I remember right, and just doesn't see himself getting to the car anytime soon. He has posted the car on FEP, but is not a member here I don't believe.

Had this been available when I went to restore M6-307 I probably would have done this car instead. The full interior is a huge bonus, and the car is in better shape. M6-307 had been completely painted by a brush which was a lot of work to correct. This car, M6-380 I believe, has not had anything funny like that done to it. And the price is certainly right. If the CHP was sold, I'd probably even buy it back.

Found it listed on FEP. He posted it on 09/13/2011. He has it listed there for $2,500. I contacted him and asked about the radiator support and buc tags. He sent me this reply:

One buck tag is there, the second one is missing. Yes, there is some damage to the rad support, looks like someone tried to pull it from there. When they did, it pried the rad support and tore the bottom of the bumper cover, that is why there is a red one on there now
I think the $2,500 for a roller is scaring people off.

Well, heck Jim, the car is only about 2 hours away for you!? It would be a nice enough project so you would have two Texas cars them....

My goal is to have an aero car and four eye SSP. Preferebly 85-86. It would be cool to have both of them from Texas (I could just see the DPS backing up the Frisco car...)

$2,500 is just crazy though. I'd like to have it and store it in my shop for a later build. I'm in the bodywork phase of a vehicle project now, and once that's done, I plan to paint the Frisco car so I can start putting it together.

Even though I'm not ready to start a 4-eye SSP project, they don't pop up that often, so you have to snag them when you can. It's not like I want to build an '85 GT. You can find those all day long.

I'm also turned off by the fact it's missing a buc tag. To me, the value is in the tag.

The car is just over an hour from me.
