22nd Annual Ripon EV Show-10/6/12
The 22nd Annual Menlo Park/Ripon Police Emergency Vehicle Show and Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair will take place on Saturday, October 6th from 8am to 3pm at the Community Center in Ripon, CA. This event features some of the finest police and emergency vehicles and equipment in the West and is one of the major national shows of this type. There will be a cruise on Friday evening, October 5th for the early arrivals in addition to an awesome Code 3 parade thru the heart of Ripon at 1pm on Saturday.
There are show classes for in-service, restored, replica and daily driven emergency vehicles of all types including law enforcement, fire and medical, military, security and tow trucks. Depending on availability, police/fire/medical helicopters are also frequent visitors to the day's events. Lots and lots to see and watch in action...better yet, BRING a vehicle to enter in the show and really enjoy the whole experience! See the show website below for entry form and more information: http://www.riponmenloparkpolicecarshow.com/index.htm |
While not this year, one of these years I'm going make Ripon with an SSP in tow. Will need to make a week trip out of it.

Woo! Made it to Ripon!
Had a couple close calls with Californian drivers on the way down, and I must say, 70-80 up the mountain passes was fun :D John looks to be already having a blast :) http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...P/IMG_1374.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...P/IMG_1375.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...P/IMG_1402.jpg |

This thing was exact. One of the most exact recreations other than the actual movie car. The supercharger was exact and could even be turned on by a switch just like in the movie http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1538.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1536.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1535.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1534.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1533.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1540.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1541.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1543.jpg Spectacular CHP Diplomat. Won it's class. I don't think the CHP could do theirs as good and correct as this car LOL http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1544.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1545.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1546.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1565.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1566.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1567.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1569.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1571.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1572.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1574.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/...2/IMG_1576.jpg |
