The new owner popped up on FB, and posted a photo of his Buck Tags (which I put to good use ;)) -

Mick can check my work, but I believe this to be a single-VIN. The owner was asking for info on the car's heritage.

It is a single P40E VIN. One before it is a GT convertible (P45E) and one after it is a GT (P42E).

His best bet is to do a Title check through TxDOT.
