Power has been out here for several hours already....I bought a new generator today. It sure doesn't look like much compared to what we saw in FL, but who knows? Thought things would be much easier in the great state of Texas as far as storms go...

We'll get one here sooner or later.

The panel on the right is for the generator
it covers 75% of the house including but not limited to
Dryer, furnace/fireplace fan, frig, bathrooms, garage door motors
the essential stuff. around the house I have never had to use it
and only load tested it after i put it in. It's a security blanket that
is in place and ready. I keep the generator starter motor battery
on a float charger and start it every month. also have a pull cord
smaller generator as a back up....just in case?

Power came back on last night....been on since. Storm has pretty much dumped some rain and that's it. This place is way overdue for a bad one.
