The seller should really explain that they aren't tall enough. Instead of very similar but not identical. I paid $20 for a set a few months back that were almost NOS.

I tried to search the information for the exact caps for an 82 CHP but did not find anything. I hear folks talk about the Escort caps being close. Could someone please explain exactly what the early caps for an 82 CHP look like and if they are specifically unique to the car or what other cars to search for?

The Escort type cap is correct for 85-86 The cap for 82 is the same as for 83-84.
