CHP didn't have automatics. More documentation would be required to make a determination. Sometimes Coupes are referred to as ssps in Cali.

I sent the seller the following question:

Dear painting1916,

Need to know if this car really is a SSP. Do you have a pic of the certified calibration 140 MPH speedometer, the door tag showing a 6 digit DSO, a relocated trunk release button, and the buck tags on the upper right corner of the core support? If this car does have the things above could you please send me those pictures to jarhed123@yahoo.com. Also CHP did not have automatic SSPs, do you know what state or agency the vehicle belongs to. I know it is a lot but thank you.

I will post the response once it arrives

Got a response but not sure what he meant by this:

Dear jarhed1,

Spelling not so great!! Why are so many people selling other people's cars on ebay? Too many lately with SSPs.

auto, power windows, sport seat fabric and it didn't appear that it has A/C.

Hmmm those left coasters do like to call coupes CHP...

This would lead me to believe it's not an SSP
