1988 New York State Police Mustang SSP. 1 of 40, 1988 Mustangs used by the New York State Police, and the only survivor known to exist.

Currently has 122,670 miles on the original engine and drivetrain. Fully restored to in-service condition, no expense spared, everything down to brake hoses, pads and calipers are new The paint and body are laser straight and better then factory new. The interior is original, and in excellent condition. The New York State Police Mustangs were never permitted to be used in the rain or snow. Runs and Drives like a new foxbody. This NYSP Mustang sports its original buck tags, door tags, and State Police assigned number tag. It wears the original Whelan Edge lighbar and full authentic NYSP reflective decal markings.

Also included in the sale are the GE Police radio, Kustom KR-10SP Radar unit with antenna, Correct DSP(Division of State Police) liberty license plates. The car has been to a few car shows and police memorial rides in the Northeast since its debut in 2008 and has been a huge hit with Fox body enthusiasts, and civilians who remember getting pulled over by Troopers driving these cars. Only Nits: A/C system needs to be refurbished, and the tailshaft gear in the tranny that controls the speedometer cable broke just prior to winter. That's it, get in and drive and impress your friends. The first person who sees this car in person will buy it!!!
