FHP-1422...I now have 2 Troop B cars

My DHSMV report for the '85 showed up today...$350 damage to the car after someone backed into it sometime during the night while it was parked in front of the trooper's house. Funny thing is that it's also a Troop B car, and it served in Ocala. 1 from Gainesville (Go Gators) and now the '85 from 25 minutes south. :2thumbs:

I'll call tomorrow and see about the pics.

Very cool. I was going to tell you to fix your sig but I see you already did.

Yepper....now if I can just catch a break on the '83 DPS car. :whistlin:

Great that you slipped in at the last minute. :) I, unfortunately, procrastinated too long and will likely never know a true unit number. At least, in my case, many '85's did not have roof numbers. Anxious to see what pictures may turn up.

I highly doubt that the reports are gone for good. I was told that they were being packed up and moved to a different location; not being destroyed. Civil cases surrounding crashes can drag on for years, and I can't see them round filing the reports after 7.

I was getting subpoenaed for a civil trial in 2003 for a crash that occurred in 1993. Guy was suing the state for a drainage-related roadway issue after flipping his SUV in the rain...only reason I even remembered the crash is because an assault rifle flew out of the truck and I had to put it into evidence for safekeeping for him.

I think we overwhelmed the state workers with all of our requests.:runaway:
