not mine--DEA SSP Baltimore

another "DEA" car. Seems like alot of sellers think that.....

Jim ,
I'm new to the SSP cars , is there no such thing ??? DEA ??? thank you . ssp91ssp |
DSO83 cars are hard to document since they were distributed to different agencies. Unless this seller has proof, I would take his claim with a grain of salt. The fact that it served with the DEA really doesn't make it that rare IMHO. It would be different if there was a specific DSO for every agency, this way you didn't have to take the word of someone just trying to make a sale. It would be allot easier to validate the "rarity".

I haven't seen any, but anything's possible....
To back up what Bernie and Jim talked about, I've been researching a few DSO 83 (GSA) cars and we are seeing that the VINs are sequential, within a specific order number, but the cars were definitely passed out to different agencies. In other words, you could have consecutively-numbered (VIN) cars from the same order that went to entirely different agencies. Unless you get paperwork from the original method of sale to the public confirming the agency usage, you might be out of luck ever finding out what it was. |
