85 seat ?

Are the SSP seats in 1985 any different than other seats? There is a guy selling a set of SSP seats from an 85 locally. Didn't know if they were specific or not and if it was worth picking up for anyone on here.

What color are they and how much? My 85 CHP has the wrong gray seats in it currently. I will be driving to Greensboro in the next 2 weeks, and could fit them in my Explorer if things worked out. I would need both fronts and the rear seats.

I don't know the color, but they are only $20. Of course that is the front seats only.

Did the SSPs get reinforced seat backs?

Otherwise they'd be standard LX seats.
