Shipper Recommendations?

Does anyone have the name of a reliable, reputable shipping company they would recommend? I have a fellow member who is inquiring about one and I have not had any experience shipping percious cargo such as my SSP. Thank you in advance...John:thumbsup:

I havn't used anyone for a while. If it is within a days drive I just do it myself. If it is going cross country I would not know where to start. I know this, you get what you pay for.

I used Interstate Auto Transporters to send enclosed trailer my 93 MSHP to Minnesota and back for the new paint. Had good experience with both legs of the journey and I think price was fair too. Someone else recently posted this same basic question (in the last 30 days I believe). If you use the search function for the forum I'll be you will be able to find that post. I know a number of people (including myself) weighed in on the topic.

I have used DAT...not DAS. I used them for a car from Utah to Ohio. Cheapest rates and they give LE discounts if that would apply to your situation. I had the car here in about 5 days from pick-up. No hub or terminal...from house to house.

they did good for us / had a minor issue with my CSP delivery but they took care of it in the end ..

I used Larry's Auto Transport for my recently purchased NE SSP to ship from Missouri to Northern Kentucky.
I was very impressed, I contracted for an "open" trailer since it was a little cheaper, but they ended up shipping it in an enclosed trailer. There was an original 427 Cobra being transported along with mine. The transport driver was a "car guy" who specialized in transporting collector cars.

I would definitely use them again if needed.
