1989 Minnesota SSP

Well guys here it is.

It's a 1989 minnesota ssp DSO# 58 0150
this car is 1 of 20 purchased by the Minnesota hwy patrol only in 1989 and in service until 05/25/1993 with 87,696 miles and purchased buy my sellers father. then it was handed down & and registered to him on 03/23/1996 with 94,000 miles and then purchased buy me on 04/17/2010 with 103,000 miles.
according to the carfax it has never been in an accedent and it still has all of it's body panel vin tags. i even have the last regestration card from the minnesota state patrol.

i have also contacted the Minnesota state patrol to to see if i can get some info or details on this cars past like maybe a unit # and i know i'm probably shooting for the stars here, but some one who even drove this car.

here are some pictures from my seller. i hope to have some of my own later this week as soon as it gets titled and insured. the owner of my local ford dealer really wants to see it also, so i'm hoping he will let me put it on a lift so i can get some pictures underneath it.

*** The dash condom is coming off, i have the factory raido and the window tint is coming off. Still not sure if the blue body molding stripe was factory or not so it will be staying for now.

Thought everyone would like to know that Minnesota SSP found a new home today, to a current forum member. i enjoyed spending several hours talking with the new owner about ssp cars and finding out the countless hours, months and in some cases even years spent on researching and restoring these cars. I'm also excited to follow it's future as it's restored back into in service condition. hopefully i will get the privilege to own it again if need be to preserve it's history.
