Many police officers in Hawaii provide their own vehicles, so it certainly could be true.

Did Hawaii actually order SSP's?

Individual officers were allowed to order them. There isn't a state agency that would have ordered them.

From December 2007 in Honolulu - and yes the Charger was a Hemi... LOL

DSO on this car is 72 0218 , San Jose .

The Federal Govt. agencies used the SSP over there, but having an issue with the DSO. for a Govt car.
