which monthly mag?

Back when I had my 89 i used to get a couple monthly magazines based on the fox-body. Been out of the loop since 98 - which mag is the best in regards to restoration and maintenance?

Good question. I got tired of all the crap that was being printed and stopped ordering. Mustang Modified came along and was great the first year. They merged with Classic Mustang's and it went to crap. Probably the best and closest you will get to our cars is 5.0 Mustang. Of course now that the 2011's are 5.0's I wonder how much focus will be on our fox bodies. I did go ahead and subscribe to 5.0 again while I was at Carlisle...so we will see.

I subscribe to several, have stopped subscribing to some, and will quit subscribing to others as they expire. In terms of "tech stuff" Mustang Monthly is real good but basically all for the 1st Gen Mustangs so doesn't really help an SSP'er. Mustang Enthusiast more oriented to the newer Mustangs but I'm I hate they went the route of putting "chicks" on the cover page with cars and with the feature car each month (that started a few months ago). Not opposed to "chicks" just think it was a cheap move to try to sell more magazines. I probably like Mustang Times with the MCA membership the most of my Mustang mags.

I don't waste my money on any of them as in my opinion they are all crap.

Just like the latest Hemmings article the information is very seldom accurate and worthwhile to actually use.

I get the MCA mag with my membership but that is it.

I say keep and use the money towards NOS parts. :)

I let all of mine expire, too, a few years back.

I stopped subscribing to mine too. But I will cruise the rack at Border's and pick up a mag or two if it catches my eye.

I sometimes do that. it is great because you can sit down and read it, then put it back and not have wasted any $$$ .

That's what I do at Walgreens while waiting for an Rx.

Well put. Print journalism of all types (newpaper, magazine, etc.) is pretty much DOA. I too have canceled all my car magazine subs over the past few years and only resort to reading them on the racks if something catches my eye on the way by.
