1986 Possible FHP in Gulf Breeze, FL

I don't think it's worth $3850. Doesn't look like the paint is all that good. But it's mostly all there.

Looks like one to me. Reminds me of Jarhed's '86 when we first picked it up. I would love to have it, but I have too much on my plate as it is. Hope someone can do it justice. Not for $3850 though.

Now it makes me feel better about spending 1200 for my 86 ssp.

That thing looks rusty.

I recieved a bunch of pictures of this car yesterday from the owner, not bad looking at all. Florida cars scare me though, never know what rust migth be hiding and it doesn't look like this car has ever spent much time inside. If anyone is interested PM me your email addy and I'll forward you the pictures.

If you really want a scare, buy a car from Wisconsin. Doug

North FL cars are usually okay. It's usually the central and south cars that have rust problems. My '86 was from central FL, but after it was auctioned it stayed in north FL and LA. My former '85 that Donny now owns spent most of its life in central FL until a few years before I bought it. It really surprised me how rusty it was.

Gulf Breeze is right on the beach though. I would ask for pics inside the cowl area. If there is no rust there, you're probably okay.

I figured would never find a Minnesota SSP due to the harsh climate and couldn't pass up my 1989 one as it is in shockingly great shape given where it came from. :D
