1986 Mustang LX Coupe – Shadow Blue 5.0 5speed - $7600
I know this is not an SSP, but some of you are fellow coupe addicts and might enjoy this. I’m changing up my collection a little bit, so I've got to sell my '86 5.0 coupe. This is the second time I’ve owned this car, and it’s just a fantastic car. I looked for a year for a clean, unwrecked, original ’86 5.0 5sp coupe in a color other than red/white/black and ended up buying this car back… it’s absolutely stunning in this color. Framerails, core support, everything is mint. After the purchase, I did some necessary repairs to ready it for daily driver duty. I have receipts for about $2500 in work, not including a $700 tranny rebuild and $250 in window tint, as well as a few other small things. Upon pulling the motor I found out and documented the fact that it is both matching #s engine and trans, undoubtedly very rare for an ’86 Coupe… most of these cars were absolutely beat to death. This car was only ordered with 3 options from the factory, A/C, Console and Defrost. Everything else is standard. The car runs and drives great, starts every time and is dead reliable. It is completely stock except for: Smog pump delete, flowmaster mufflers, 3.55 gears, and saleen 170 mph speedo. The car has around 140k miles on it, tires are in great shape.
