eBay payment unclaimed???

I never had this happen before.

I won a Radar in an eBay auction on 04/21. The auction said they accepted Paypal, so I paid with Paypal. It's now the 25th and the payment is still unclaimed. WTH?? My address is confirmed......so I'm a bit confused. I sent the seller a message to see what's up, but haven't received a reply. Anyone ever experienced this??

It says the recipient is unregistered. Why say you take Paypal if you're not registered with Paypal.

Don't know what to do.

I have heard of people having problems when they initially set up an account, since Paypal deposits a small amount into your checking account.

Don't know why he couldn't just respond to my message.

Did you receive your radar? Maybe he's offline (dead).:headscratch:

I ran into this with a seller before. Are they in the Kansas City area? If so listing said accepted PayPal, but they didn't and they required a Money Order. I spent over a month messing around with him. He was VERY SLOW responding to PM messages through ePay system. Sometimes he never responded. Very difficult to do business with and the only reason I kept with it was such a difficult item to find. Glad that I did because it is nice, works just great and is in my MSHP SSP now.

Yea, I ran into this same thing when I purchased the cluster from the 87 TxDPS car I just bought. Turns out they didn't set up the paypal account right. The money was refunded ( Through cancel transaction) which I then sent to him via money order. Turns out I bought the whole car so maybe your situation will turn out good also...
