Aerodynic lightbar questions

3 Attachment(s)
I met a guy at a car show last weekend who offered to sell me this pair of Federal Signal Aerodynic lightbars. I thought about getting them for garage art. He said they worked when they were removed and he got them in trade for some other parts from a friend about 15 years ago (he thought they might of been on a military vehicle, but he can't recall any other details). Does anybody know what vintage they are or what they are worth (mounts included)? Thanks for any info you may have,
Bob

Look like the older, synchronized (cool) versions, but I can't really tell from the pics that you posted.

I'm picking them up in WI tonight. I'll post some of my own pictures after I get them cleaned up. I figure at $100 for the pair, I can't go wrong (my wife would argue that point though). They won't be going on my SSP, but one of them might find its way onto my M715 (it was a Fire Truck from 1985 - 2005, but had siren and light removed before I got it, and these would probably be about the right vintage for that time frame).

The vintage is late 70's early 80's. Cool find and is a common light replacement for the Federal Twinsonic.

Depending on the task, it actually does look like an MP light.

The seller got them from his cousin who was in the military in the late 80's and drove trucks hauling decommissioned missiles in one of the Dakotas (whichever one had silos). He is going to check and find out if they were on the big 8-axle trucks or Military Police escort pickup trucks. I'll post pictures after I clean them up in the morning.
