This is my 1989 SSP from Georgia. I found the car sitting in what my uncle in-law calls his boneyard. It had been stolen and dogged by some teenagers, so when he got it back he just parked it. Well after marrying his neice I bought ther car. I replaced the entire front from door to door as the kids who stole it wrecked it. I took the engine out (matching numbers) and had it bored .30 over and stuck a Scat 347 crank in it, Keith Black pistons, Scat 4340 connecting rods, Competition Cam in it. I out some GT40P head from Ford Racing and topped those with a Cobra upper and lower intake with a 1 inch space. I'm feeding it with BBK fuel Rails and 40 lb injectors and a BBK Cold Air Intake. I have Ford Racing Headers and and a Summit Bracket Racer Harmonic Balancer. I have a Summit custom Mass Flow Sensor. It has a double roller timing chain, Street Fightr 3500 Stall with an AOD with a B&M shift kit and a B&M Hammer SHifter. I have completely restored all the interior using Late Model Restoration. The seats are out of a Dodge SRT4.

Question
was this originally a Georgia State Patrol Mustang?
Did you find any indication of the past life of the car
buck tags.......single key trunk / door / ignition
what about the Car.....we know about the motor
Was a shotgun involved with the wedding ceremony
(just kidding)
any pictures of the tags / interior
I am and i think (we are) really wanting to know if this
IS an actual SSP mustang and if this is (was) an Actual
Georgia State Patrol car?

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting pictures. You'll find that the crew here tends to prefer their SSP's stock, but at least you saved yours from the junkyard. I'd be curious to know where your car served. If the engine compartment is still wearing its factory black paint, then perhaps it was a FHP car?

If you can, please post up a picture of your car's VIN sticker on the original door (if you still have it). Another place to look would be the radiator support for the 2nd Buck Tag to see what it says.
