1991 CHP - Wisconsin
Well, I was hoping not to do this but I don't want this to sit in the garage eternally either. My regular business has increased to the point I need to reduce my hobbies, and this may have to be one of them.
This is originally 1JerryL's '91 CHP that I bought earlier this year. Original sale thread: http://www.sspmustang.org/forums/showthread.php?t=11013 It's bone stock and completely unmolested. CHP plain white "quick" paint job, as Jerry told me "looks good from 20 feet" but up close dulled out. Tires are nearly new, almost new battery. Jerry had a ton of mechanical work done to it with all records kept. Car drives strong and tight. Interior is all intact, no cracks in dash or plastic. Drivers seat shows sag & wear and interior door panels "map pockets" are missing, but otherwise "all there" including a new headliner. All glass intact, just a minor, minor bit of the quarter window fade, but not enough to detract. Small chip in lower part of passenger windshield, but no cracking. NO body damage, no rust, no dents, no nothing. A/C blows ice cold, however heater core is bypassed. Air bag light shows on and/or blinking. Only other thing I've found is will leak fuel from the filler pipe when filled full, only right at the top. Was unit 8990. Buck tags were saved and pop-rivited back to the car by some former owner before Jerry or I, just not in correct location. Jerry included a bunch of resto items in the sale to me and I'd include them as well. Rides on the silver set of 10-holers but there is a black set also included. Period correct radio, mounts, map light, shotgun lock, rear deck lights including arrowstick, front center mount red light and shield; some extra spots and housings. It's registered with a clear WI Title. Trailered it from SC, and I had it out for a few short around town trips this summer. Stored inside here in WI and I would be happy to keep it stored for any new owner inside until springtime or whenever. I'd like this car to stay in the hobby therefore I'm only going to post it up on here and over on .org. I don't want to eBay or CL it for fear that it gets cut up for drag car. Not trying to profit, only to break even on what I have in it including transport back here to WI. And certainly not saying I'll never own one in the future either! $7,000...920-606-4939 or daytimes 920-968-4437 or feel free to PM or email me. I'll try to post up some pictures that Jerry gave me. Thanks all and Merry Christmas! Chad |
