Where do I find a new wiring harness for my 1990 SSP?

Ok, so my restoration of my FBI SSP (1990) has ground to a halt. Original harness plus 2 others I found are toast. I understand that there were 2 or 3 types made in 1990 for the V8. I need the one with 2 8 pin connectors coming out of the firewalls. I don't know where to go next.

Look at latemodelrestoration.com. I believe they sell new wiring harnesses...as I am sure a couple other companies do as well. Good luck!

Where do I find a new wiring harness for my 1990 SSP?

I asked the guys @ Latemodel Resto last week about this.........& they referred me to a salvage yard to get a used one.

I know I've seen on Saturday & Sunday mornings on Horse Power TV that a company named Painless Performance Products sells products like this, but I've hadn't had any luck finding anything f/ my 92 LX Stang.

Will post if I find or hear anything.

I'm dealing with wiring issues on my 85 SSP, as many of the wires are baked beyond use. There's not much available yet from the aftermarket, and what you find tends to be pricey.

Here is a 8-pin plug repair (check usage, as it's marked as being for a 79-85) -

For your 1990, here is a oxygen sensor harness for an auto -

In my case, the shop is harvesting colored wires from a good used harness (later model) to repair the existing one.

Be very careful with the Oxygen harness. Correct pin configuration in the plugs is critical to prevent damage to the computer. Be sure that the configuration on the new one matches your old one. A '89 harness is definitely different from a '90.

Performance Parts Inc. may have harnesses available but they will be pricey. Good luck with it.
