Need help with CHP Unit information
 

Long story short I bought a 91 Crown Vic CHP and was under the impression it was Unit 8131. Research shows that while the driver side door appears to have been from Unit 8131, the car is likely a different unit. The vin number is 2FACP72G9MX102051. Can anyone help me figure out which unit this actually was? Thanks.

...and it will tell you how to request the registration history from California DMV using a car's VIN. On my report, it listed the CHP at the first owner and included the license plate number (i.e. CHP Unit Number). Good luck!
