Weatherstripping?

I brought my car home last week to finally stop paying Public Storage. It is funny, it feels like we just made room to fill it again... I was going to stick the weatherstripping on the car, because I never did and would like to not damage the paint by overclosing the doors, and I don't remember, is it glue on or friction fit.

I believe that I am mentally ill and am a hoarder-lite, or maybe it is that thing that field techs have where they want to save everything because they may need it someday, and quite often do. We filled a garbage can with wire and took it to the recycling place. It turned out to be 140#. I found a box from when I cleaned out my desk at Auto Trader, where I just tossed everything in, and it looks like I have been hauling it around for nineteen years.

What the brothers look like berthed together.

I could also use a suggestion on how to remove the dust that the car picked up while in storage. No side glass or windshield, so car wash unlikely, plus I really don't want to load it on the trailer again, so soon. My water at home is pretty hard, I wouldn't want to use that to wash with.

Weather stripping just slides on. No glueing required.
Wipe the car down with a wet rag and get alot of the dirt off. Then you might be able to buff the paint to get it looking new again.

Autogeek has a good selection of waterless car wash. They even have a video on how to do it properly.

Glad you got it out of storage and are hopefully hanging on to it.
