1991 Mustang SSP (FHP 1395)
I am listing this car for sale on the SSP sites and nowhere else. I am only listing to help fund the restoration costs of our recently aquired NMSP SSP. At this time I will only sell to an established member of the SSP community. Sorry to offened anyone, but I do not want to see this car end up a racer or anything of the sort. I would just assume not to sell it and eventually restore/refurbish her myself before parting with her not knowing where she may go or end up.
This car is well known and several threads can be found on the SSP sites by doing a search of "FHP1395". I have a binder over an inch thick of history on this SSP. Included is an accident report with inservice photos of 1395. This car has had numerous upgrades in the last several years. Some items include new Flowmaster exhaust, rebuilt rearend, aluminum driveshaft, clutch cable, and other odds and ends. The binder will include many receipts of all the work done since FHP owned her. The seats are in very nice shape as is most of the interior. The only real negative is the red headliner currently in the car. I will include the titanium one out of the NMSP SSP if someone would want it. Mechanically the car is solid. Only issue is the brake booster, but I will be replacing it prior to the sale. It does have the typical 302 oil leaks at the rear seal, but nothing major or out of the norm. The AC has been updated and works great...even in the 90+ temps we had here in July. The heater also works just fine. This is an original power option car, and both door locks and windows work as they should. Has a stock Ford radio in it, but I do not think it is the correct one. Exterior is not bad for a driver, but is nowhere near show car material. The roof and passenger door are filled with bondo, which is cracking. A few thin pieces of the bondo have fallen off the passenger door. I have a rust free donor door to go with the car if the purchaser would want it. Headlights are in nice shape as are the tail lights. (I believe the headlights are OEM, but the corner markers are aftermarket.) Car is rust free, including the inner fender aprons. Car does not have any buck tags, as the core support was replaced from the inservice accident. Lastly I have almost every piece of emergency equipment for this car. The deck lights I have are dash masters and this car ran the federal lights...so not 100% correct for the car. I have a NOS newer model Jetsonic (Not chain drive), the correct JSS controller, chrome window shades, and a complete VASCAR unit. These will be offered for an additional price to the buyer. These are the highlights that I can think of at the moment. Again this listing is for established members only. I would really like to keep this car and restore it, but I want to do the NMSP SSP more so the funds could really get things moving much quicker and free up some work space. Price for the car is $4500 firm. I may take some NOS items I need for the NMSP SSP as partial trade. Please call 9 Three 7- 8 Two 9-One 5 Nine 5 if you have any questions. A few pics I have loaded now...I will take some better ones tomorrow. http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...6-26164929.jpg http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...6-26164908.jpg http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...6-26165019.jpg http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...6-26165032.jpg Link to photos: xxx |

Matt, good luck with the sale. I hope it finds a good home. If I had the funds and space (I know, everyone says that!), I would love to make FHP1395 a stablemate to CHP8395. :) But that isn't an option right now...

SALE PENDING

Nice. :)

Well as quick as she was "sale pending" she will be staying home with us. Buyer was unable to complete the transaction and after driving her this afternoon I just assume keep her for now.
Thanks for all those who were interested and I wish you luck on finding your next SSP. Thread closed. :) |
