1993 SC SSP 67K miles
 

Up for sale is one of the finest examples you will find of a like new bone stock original SSP LX Coupe. This car was was purchased at Ronnie Burns Ford in Chesnee, SC, apparently it was a left over special order car that the state (Highway Patrol) did not take, this car was purchased by an individual and never went into police service. The original owner must have had some idea the the car was special because it was always garaged babied and rarely driven as you can see by the miles(67K) and awesome condition. I acquired the car from a very good friend who knew and purchased it from the original owner. I have full documentation on the car, bill of sale, window sticker, all factory and dealer accessories, and a complete carfax. Everything on the car looks and works like it did when new.

I noted on the window sticker that there was a $ 655.00 charge for "special service package manual transmission". Can't say that I have heard of this before. Anyone?

It looks like that is the total cost for the SSP option. I didn't recall seeing other window stickers that indicated the transmission type with the SSP option, but here's a 1993 from the same DSO that I found in our VIN Project with the same notation:
