1993 ground strap question

Did 1993 SSP trunk ground straps have a dark gray rubber coating on them?

Not sure about 93's but my 92 GSP had black coated straps in trunk.

Thanks for the reply and photos. My NHP had one snapped off (routed wrong after restoration?) about 1" from end. I can't find the coated ones online, so I guess I'll try to un-crimp and re-crimp the existing strap and route it so it won't bind.

They're is a auto recycler here close that had about 40 GSP Crown Vic's. I noticed they're exactly the same, when I get a chance I plan on going by and buying several sets to put up for future projects.

To be perfectly honest the ones in the pic from my 92 GSP, look to just have heat shrink slid over the cable , crimped the heated up afterwards.

My car doesn't have any wrap around the ground strap.

My 92 CHP SSP has a plastic coating over both of the trunk ground straps.
I think you could get the same look by using heat shrink tape.
Or use the Crown vic's. I believe Ford used a lot of the same items on most of their cars.

Mine look the same as the photos attached by the previous post.
