GSP big sale off of 97 ???
 

While doing VIN Checks I noticed a useless bit of info... Seems the GSP didn't sell off any of their Mustangs until 1997... The 83's; 88's; 89's 90's; 91's & 92's records show shipped to dealer then title renewals start over the year of 97... Hopefully my contact can shed some insight on this tidbit of useless info :-) I would love to see a pic of a lot full of GSP's like the CHP had...

This would not include the wrecked and totaled cars. The 3 I know of just show shipped to dealer, no further records...

Hmmmm, interesting that they would hold on to all the mustangs that long before selling. Especially the early cars.

Yea I thought so too. But everyone starts its first title renewal sometime in 97...

Two of my GSP's were sold to other agencies (90 Rockmart PD & 88 Jone county) both in you guessed it 97...

The only exceptions I've found are the 5 in the block of 7 Georgia cars ( last two went to Canada) that are not blue/grey. One was reported at auction in 91 but was later wrecked while still belonging to a state agency then sold to public in .... 97
