This is not my ad, but the seller is relatively local to me. He sent me some pictures for our VIN Project, which is linked here:

That might be a nice opportunity for someone. Did you learn if he rec'd any paperwork, maintenance records, etc. from the state when he bought it?

I have emailed him for more pictures. I've been looking for a clean one like this. I'm curious of the condition of the interior. From the few pictures it looks like this could be a great car for the money.

shouldn't this body code on this door sticker be '66B' and not 'LX2'? I was under the impression the 'LX2' designation started the following year in '92?

Maybe one of you SSP scholars can shed some light on this for me...

thanks!

I do not know about the body code.

I got to meet Clark last night at the Faulkner Police Car Cruise in West Chester, PA. He is a really nice guy. Sadly, I did not take any pictures of the car. The interior is in really nice condition. The outside is bruised in a couple of areas (front bumper), but it presents really well overall. It is well worth the money IMO. Clark said that he would be sending me copies of the SC auction paperwork, which he said includes VIN info on other Mustangs as well :)

66B = through 1989
LX2 = 1990 and later

Hopefully you're able to access these 2 links with pictures folks took of the aforementioned car's exterior.

It sure looks nice, from what you can see of it. If he has auction paperwork as Bill indicates, that would be a real positive too.

I may catch up with Clark tomorrow to pick up copies he made for me of the South Carolina auction paperwork. He said that there is VIN information on other cars as well, so this could help us on a few SSPs. (fingers crossed)
