I just talked to the owner and he said it needs new front fenders, door skins, and rear patch panels (all due to rust). He said it does have the Police Interceptor badge on the trunk lid, so it is a real SSP. He also said that he looked into a Ford program where you ship them your car and $30,000.00 and they restore your car to factory new. In addition, he said that the Air Force used this car for U2 planes before the MN State Patrol got it. He has talked to the trooper who used it and it was verified as the car he had because it had a dent in the driver's door where a perp who tried to get his gun had his head planted. He is going to get me the VIN, so I can see what shade of blue it is.

Wow! He's a real salesman shoveling lots and lots of...you get the idea. LOL!

Some folks just don't know any better than to repeat the stories they've been told...

EXNODRAMANOTCH 09-28-2013 12:07 PM

The last six digits of the VIN are 193401, so it is the only found Medium Shadow Blue Metallic of the 3 that they had.

Wow....he's heard almost ALL of the stories! LOL
