Wow

I recently traded all 6 of the mouldings from wheelwell to wheel well all brand new ford parts i've had in my closet for 10 years.

:Wow: .

The transaction is going to be cancelled, but I'm not sure if he will second chance-offer them to the under-bidder. He apparently had them rolled up, and when Matt from Fox Mustang Restoration emailed him about it, he changed the pics. Matt was a little late letting the guys at FEP know, and the bidding went waaay up. The seller agreed to cancel the auction, though, after the buyer heard about how they were stored.

He did change the pictures. I couldn't tell what they were when I first saw them. Even if they were stored properly, that kind of money is insane!

Bernie, it's getting to be the norm for "Rare" (what an overworked word) parts. You want a cardiac arrest - price Air Cond parts (compressor/clutch/accumulator etc). I gathered them over time for my '89 SCHP - amazing how much the value of that car just went up!:Wow:

I have to do this very thing for my 86 Ne SSP. I can only imagine it is going to be BIG BUCKS!

It is a shame that the seller didn't explain how they had been stored as these will bring next to no $$$ now. Once those little metal strips are rolled like that they pretty much are crap. I have run into that already.

Any rubber molding for the 4-eyed are getting outrageous. The little 8" GT strip behind the door recently sold for the same price on Ebay.
