winter 2014 project 1991 gsp 1238

what started out as some minor paint touch up, turned into mismatching paint then to full repaint.
this car was previously painted with what I believe was the civilian ultra blue which is lighter than the correct GSP fleet ultra blue. what a difference. this fleet blue really pops! got the car home the other day and took it out of the trailer today to start some assembly. to cut costs down I do most of my own disassembly/reassembly. I only leave quarter windows and double sided tape moldings application to the experts. nos quarter windows were installed with nos door handles, moldings and have nos cowl grille and emblems to put on. I had the seats also redone with sms material and they were finished yesterday after waiting for months. once paint sits for a few weeks, I have the correct decals to put on it. |

Looks great, Russ! And, the Speed Shine from Griot's is a nice bonus. Love that stuff.

She looks great Russ! And if it's anything close to your CHP, it'll be remarkable! ;)
