Ok was not sure best place to put this, but it is “equipment” related…

I have been reading plenty and also following the Resto doc. I see that for the TX units, there is mention that they could have had a shotgun and/or the “Ruger Mini 14”.

I’ve also searched on here for “Ruger” and only a few threads came up, one being for the CHP SSP’s. It was also mentioned in that thread that CHP used the “Ruger Mini 14”.

The question I have is, what was the exact model of the “Ruger Mini 14”? When I go to Ruger’s site and look back on old owners manual PDF’s, there are a few “Mini 14” owners manuals, but they have exacting names, not just “Mini 14”.

Such as:
Mini 14 Ranch
Mini 14 300 AAC Blackout
All Weather Mini Thirty (which was on one of the Mini 14 owners manuals I found online)

Is the “Mini Thirty” just a different variation of the “Mini 14”?

Can anyone please clarify the proper Ruger model used by TX with manufacturer name and/or a picture of one?
