Have wondered for years…
I’ve always wondered the following, so thought I’d finally ask. On the Home Page, for the website, it has a Last Updated date. It’s been many years, since that changed. Think it’s currently 2016, and some years had passed before that change occurred.
Seems like things are changing all the time, or maybe it’s just the Forum. I wonder if that date were updated more frequently, it would encourage people to give the website a more frequent look? Gives a stale impression with such an old date, while that’s clearly not the case. Just a thought that’s been on my mind for years, and the whole Facebook post led me to finally ask. Thanks for this site, I certainly appreciate it! |
Thanks for the post, Mike. You're right about the need to change it from 2016 to 2024. The date has been a .gif file that I was not able to update and maintain the flashing motion of the graphic image. The tachometer is also a graphic image that no longer functions the way it had been. I had spoken with Michael a while ago about the latter image to see if there was a way to make that work properly again.
In terms of the date for the last update, I created a picture file for the date and uploaded it to the main page. I selected the date of August 24, 2024, which is the most recent change that I made to the State Agency Usage page. The new image isn't a cool blinky graphic, but it does show that we are still active here. Thanks again, Mike! |
Glad you can have a work around. Just an fyi if it’s supposed to show 2024 , as of the time of this post, it still shows the 2016 year. The blinky light is cool, but best for more current date to reflect the lights are still on here :) . Thanks again!

It must be an issue with Cookies. My phone's browser will not refresh to the new 2024 image, but using my laptop the new date is seen.
