Ground strap questions
 

Can anyone discuss the ground strap locations for the SSP’s and if those locations were different based on DSO or Dept. ordering forms?

My SSP has the front hood and rear hood ground straps. But recently I’ve seen an SSP auction where the image shows ground straps coming off the L and R mufflers. Is this just another incorrect personal restoration job, or was that a true Ford Assembly line feature/order option for the 79-93 SSP’s?

Do the Marti’s document such options if an SSP Marti is requested, or do the Marti’s not go that deep in the weeds for As Built features?

Can't answer your core question but ground straps off the mufflers don't make sense to me. Engine block to frame would take care of any of that grounding needed.
