Transmission - Speed-o
Okay. You guys were gooder than gold with the gasket question. It is sitting right here next to me brand new over the counter from Moroone Ford in Delrey, Florida. Now I have a question about my never has functioned speedo. Former owner/friend, Rod said, "Oh just pull the cable and replace the gear on the end. Pulled it and the gear was in place. Prodding inside the tailpiece reveals that there is nothing for the gear to engage with. Is this a common problem and what is the fix? Certainly it involves pulling off the tranny tailpiece. Any help is very much appreciated.
