The owner has claimed that the car came from the CHP with the red GT seating but I don't believe that fact has ever been confirmed. The presence of the door moldings and trailer hitch are also a bit puzzling but aside from those items plus the roof signatures and the stupid assortment of juvenile stickers that have been added the car is unrestored and mostly original.
It didn't appear in the famous EVOC video featuring the 1992 Mustang because that's the year it was sold off and that video was made some years later. Bottom line: it's a very interesting CHP unit that should be preserved (
NOT restored) back to its original condition and deserves better treatment and stewardship than it has received for many years but is no way worth even half the current asking price.
