I sit the seats in the driveway completely assembled and soak them down with a good commercial upholstery/carpet cleaner. If I am cleaning carpet I lay it across a sawhorse.

after they are sprayed with cleaner let them sit five minutes.

using HOT water I use my 2400 PSI pressure washer and blast them. I don't get any closer than about 6 inches to the material. Start at the top and work your way down.

you will be absolutely amazed at how much dirt will come out of the seats or carpet, including coffee, coke, or other stains.

unfortunatly RUST residue from metal will usually not come out.
